Public Works

**Update March 17, 2020**

Transfer Station Hours Expanded

In response to the evolving public health emergency, and in an effort to minimize crowding at the transfer station, the Department of Public Works will be adding Monday hours to the customary Wednesday and Saturday schedule.  Effective Monday, March 23rd, the facility will be open Monday, Wednesday and Saturday from 7:30 a.m. until 3:30 p.m.   Per our earlier messages, the swap table program has been indefinitely halted.  Transfer Station sticker distribution has been temporarily halted.

Thank you to our DPW staff for suggesting this accommodation.  We are all trying to adapt as we go.  Public feedback about the Town’s public health emergency response efforts are greatly appreciated.

Timothy Higgins
Town Administrator
